Points and Miles in the UK

Why Points and Miles Are Not Only for People in Corporate

I need to be honest. I always heard that points and miles were for the wealthy only, and that was back when I lived in Brazil.

After I started talking to my students here, I realised that in the UK, many people believe that points and miles are only for those who travel a lot for work.

But I’m here as proof, a Brazilian mum in the UK, living on just my husband’s income, that this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Points and miles are for everyone.

I learned, and this is how I teach, that every single pound you spend can be turned into points.
Your food shopping, your visits to the petrol station, that expensive gift, the travels you’re already doing, everything counts.

And again, after speaking to many students, I realised that some people already have a huge amount of Avios, Membership Rewards points, or Virgin Points, but have no idea how to use them.

But there’s hope. You just need to learn how to make the most of them.

That’s why we’re starting a new series of blog posts explaining everything to you, because we truly believe everyone should understand how points and miles work.

So buckle up, because soon you’ll be an expert in the points and miles universe.

See you soon,
Nat
